Se a confirmado tras finalizar la emisión del episodio de hoy, se anunció la producción de una segunda temporada para la adaptación al anime de las novelas “Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary“. El comunicado indica que el estreno será en Primavera-2025 (Abril-Junio) y que se adaptarán los arcos “The Case of the Autumn-time Limited-Edition Candied Chestnuts and Sweet Potatoes” y “The Case of the Wintertime Limited-Edition Chocolate Bonbons”.
Por otra parte, Honobu Yonezawa comenzó la publicación de las novelas a través de la editorial Tokyo Sogensha en diciembre de 2004, comenzando con la historia “The Case of the Springtime Limited-Edition Strawberry Tart“, seguido por “The Case of the Summertime Limited-Edition Tropical Parfait” en abril de 2006; y después por “The Case of the Autumn-time Limited-Edition Candied Chestnuts and Sweet Potatoes” y “The Mystery of the Paris Macaron“. El más reciente, titulado “The Case of the Wintertime Limited-Edition Chocolate Bonbons” fue lanzado en abril de 2024.
